Valley Stream North High School, located in Franklin Square, N.Y., is a college preparatory, coeducational high school providing education to students in grades nine through 12. The school offers a wide range of academic, career-oriented, technical, extracurricular, and summer school enrichment programs. It offers courses in various subjects, including English, math, science, social studies, foreign languages, and fine and performing arts. Additionally, it offers various college-level advanced placement courses, including music theory, English, French and Spanish literature and language, European and American history, government, psychology, biology, chemistry, physics, calculus, computer science, environmental science and statistics. It offers career preparatory programs in various subjects, such as auto technology, commercial foods, cosmetology, computer business operations, and construction and remodeling.
