About Dr. Pathak Neha J. Pathak, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist who provides comprehensive foot and ankle care to patients of all ages in New York City. At Personal Podiatry -- her top-rated practice with comfortable and upscale Manhattan locations in Chelsea and the Upper East Side -- Dr. Pathak is proud to offer the most progressive medical treatments and surgical techniques available to help her patients get back on their feet as quickly as possible. As a former avid long-distance runner and swimmer, and a current ballroom dancer, Dr. Pathak specializes in diagnosing and treating sports- and dance-related injuries. While she believes that most foot and ankle ailments are best managed with a personalized treatment approach that emphasizes conservative care measures, her surgical expertise allows her to provide advanced, minimally invasive surgical care when required. Dr. Pathak has started her practice after previously being part of a large podiatry group in New York. She treats common conditions like hammertoe deformities, plantar plate injuries, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, and painful neuromas. She’s also trained in the latest bunion removal technique, which addresses rotation in the frontal plane to help ensure the problem won’t reoccur. Dr. Pathak completed her undergraduate degree in molecular biology and molecular genetics at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She went on to receive her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois. She served as chief resident during her residency training at Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Healthcare System. During her second residency at Banner Desert Hospital in Mesa, Arizona, Dr. Pathak received extensive training in all facets of podiatric medicine and surgery, with emphasis on diabetic limb salvage and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Dr. Pathak is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
