Founded in 1795, Union College is among the first colleges chartered by the Board of Regents of the State of New York. It is an independent liberal arts college located in Schenectady, N.Y. The college s more than 100-acre campus houses a library, computer and technology center, and science and engineering center. Union College offers more than 1,000 programs in the humanities, social sciences, sciences, and engineering fields. It provides undergraduate and graduate degree courses, accelerated and honors programs and international study options. Its sports facilities include an all-weather athletic field and track with stadium-style seating and large press box, various men's and women's basketball programs, gymnasium, fitness center and swimming pool.
