Might be the best thing to do on shelter island. Captain John knows the island like the back of his hand and every trip is a boat ride and a history lesson of the island all wrapped into one.

I have fished and cruised on Shelter Island since 1966.Tubby Charters was started in 2003. My son and I go fishing on our days off but I don't think we have a fishing problem !

Tubby Charters offers private fishing and sunset cruises at partyboat discounted rates ! We specialize in family fishing and work closely with the children to make sure they catch fish. Sunset cruises travel around Shelter Island and include stories of history and some celebrities that live on the island.
