Trina's School of Piano

History

I started out teaching piano in music stores, and through word-of-mouth, slowly built my own clientele of loyal students. I've been teaching piano privately since 2000. Through experience and my course studies, I can work with all levels of students, including students with special needs. (I received my Bachelor's in music, minor in psychology, and a heavy concentration in music therapy.) My M.A. in Theory and concentration in classical piano improved my ability to teach advanced students and expanded my knowledge in music theory. This allowed me to better incorporate ear-training, etc. to expand my students' range of knowledge.

Specialties

I'm a friendly, patient, enthusiastic, experienced, full-time piano teacher, joyfully instructing piano professionally since 1999. Music transcends words, and I have a deep understanding of music/ piano, both personal/ experiential and technical/ academic which I truly enjoy sharing with my students.
