Transitional Services, Inc. (TSI) is a human services organization based in Buffalo, NY, dedicated to supporting individuals with mental disabilities. TSI offers a person-centered approach to service delivery, utilizing the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Approach and Everyday Lives Philosophy to empower individuals by identifying personal strengths and building skills. TSI focuses on transitioning individuals (both psychiatric and intellectual disabilities) into the community by providing housing and support services. With over 50 years of experience, TSI serves more than 400 individuals annually throughout Allegheny County, fostering role recovery and developing natural supports for each individual. Crisis Services is dedicated to promoting the health, safety, and well being of the community through prevention, education, immediate intervention, and access to community wide resources 24 hours a day. Thanks to all of our golfers and sponsors, we had a successful tournament. The service was designed to fill the community's need of an innovative unit that would explore new methods of treating and assisting people in emotional crises through a variety of therapeutic services. It was to also provide training and educative programs in crisis intervention and have a comprehensive research program under girding the whole service.
