Training for Daycare / Childcare Providers and Staff

SpecialtiesThe Center for Economic and Workforce Development (CEWD) at Kingsborough Community College (KCC) delivers workforce training and college readiness programs to under- and un-employed NYC residents, providing the training and skills necessary to advance their careers or continue toward a higher educational goal. The Center is uniquely situated, having the ability to work with faculty from credit-bearing degree programs and the non-credit Office of Continuing Education, as well as other CUNY and non-CUNY partners. Initiatives at the Center run the gamut of working with departments to enhance existing programs, developing full-service job training programs and smaller custom-training interventions for unions and employers that meet the needs of New York's continually changing economy. The Center is committed to providing our students with the most relevant training and hands-on employment services that will positively serve their long-term individual, educational and career goals.
