Town of Woodbury Police Department

The Town of Woodbury Police Department, established in 1889, is a NYS accredited agency serving a diverse population of approximately thirteen thousand residents, over sixteen million annual tourists, and one of the largest school districts in the county. Located in the southern portion of Orange County, New York, Woodbury is known as the Gateway to Orange County and is surrounded by the beautiful NYS Bear Mountain Park and the prestigious USMA of West Point. Comprised of 33 uniformed members and 12 civilian members, the department is led by Chief of Police Kevin Watson, a twenty-four-year member of the agency who is actively involved in the community.
