Town of Newburgh Recreation Department

The Town of Newburgh Recreation Department is a city department that offers a range of recreational activities and programs for the children, youths and senior citizens of the town of Newburgh, N.Y. It offers a range of programs for adults, including cardio kickboxing, softball, combo classes, jazz exercises and step aerobics, as well as operates a knitting and crocheting club that provides needles and yarn and related instruction to beginners. The recreation department also conducts defensive driving classes. It additionally provides gymnastics, ballet and tap combo, cheerleading and baton instruction programs. The Town of Newburgh Recreation Department conducts ice-skating and tae kwon do classes. Its preschool programs serve children between the ages of 1 and 4.
