Tonawanda Senior High School

Tonawanda Middle School, governed by the Tonawanda City School District, serves students in grades six through eight. The school s academic curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as English, math, science, physical education and social studies. It also conducts lessons in the areas of manufacturing, graphics design, robotics and electronics. Tonawanda Middle School operates newspaper, environment, drama, computer, chess, French and Spanish clubs. The school s range of extracurricular activities includes art and vocal and instrumental music. It provides membership opportunities in the National Junior Honor Society, as well as organizes dance activities and field trips. Tonawanda Middle School additionally manages The Family Assistance Center of Tonawanda, which offers advocacy and family and individual counseling services. The school operates a parent-teacher-student association that works for student welfare. It provides special education programs for students with developmental disabilities.
