Todd L Rosenblat, MD

Melvin P. Rosenwasser, MD, has expertise in orthopaedic hand, elbow, and trauma surgery, which makes him a unique specialist because he can accommodate any traumatic orthopaedic extremity problem as well as arthritic and congenital anomalies of the upper extremity. Dr. Rosenwasser has been co-principal investigator on numerous NIH grants and awards and has authored many book chapters and peer-reviewed articles on surgery of the upper extremity as well as trauma-related surgery for both upper and lower extremities. He presents scientific lectures on his specialty both here and abroad. Dr. Rosenwasser has also served as Chairman of many national and local hand and trauma conferences. Dr. Rosenwasser has been recognized in New York Magazines "Best Doctors in New York" Hall of Fame. Dr. Rosenwasser is also the hand consultant for the New York Yankees.

Dina Podolsky, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She is a board-certified general surgeon who graduated with honors from Rutgers University, where she also received her medical degree, and completed a residency in general surgery at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Podolsky then completed fellowship training in complex abdominal wall reconstruction and robotic surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she worked closely with one of the world’s leading hernia surgeons, Dr. Novitsky. She is a member of several national organizations, including the Americas Hernia Society and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Podolsky has received numerous awards for her training and teaching, including the Leo M. Davidoff Award for Outstanding Teaching and the Golden Apple Teaching Award. Dr. Podolsky specializes in all aspects of hernia surgery, including inguinal, ventral, and complex abdominal wall reconstruction, employing minimally invasive techniques with laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She has presented research at major professional associations and continues to be active in research, publishing both academic research and textbook chapters. Dr. Podolsky currently sees patients in midtown Manhattan and Washington Heights.

Dr. Ran Reshef trained in Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation and received a Master of Science degree in Translational Research from the University of Pennsylvania. He joined Columbia University in 2015 as Director of Translational Research for the Blood and Marrow Transplantation program. He is the Clinical Lead for the CAR-T Cell Program at Columbia, a principal investigator at the Columbia Center for Translational Immunology, and a member of the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center.
