HistoryFor over 40 years, Nancy has helped countless dog owners successfully train and enjoy life with their dogs. Many of her students have also competed in obedience, agility and conformation; often achieving their titles with placements and High In Trials. Numerous dogs have become breed Champions and registered Therapy Dogs. She has also given additional training to working guide dogs, service dogs and one very rowdy police k9! People Training For Dogs was first established in New York City in 1977. In the late 1980's Nancy moved to Rockland County, NY and has continued to offer her People Training For Dogs training programs in several locations. Her school is currently located in Valley Cottage where she teaches classes for puppies and adult dogs and offers the AKC STAR Puppy, Canine Good Citizen and Community Canine training programs, advanced obedience and agility training to those who are interested in competition.
