Dr. Schor also performed the first Transcarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR) procedure on Staten Island for the treatment of carotid artery disease. Dr. Schor is interested in the treatment of peripheral vascular disease, venous disease and abdominal aortic aneurysm. Dr. Schor is a member of Society of Vascular Surgery, Eastern Vascular Society, American Venous Forum, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has a research interest in the surgical management of DVT and treatment of PVD. Dr. Schor is a principal investigator for a number of National Institute of Health (NIH) sponsored clinical research trials, and his research has been presented at both local and national meetings.
