Founded in 1987, McKenney Mechanical Contractors Inc. is a full-service mechanical contractor/subcontractor of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems. Based in Newtown, Conn., the firm specializes in planning, designing, building, installation and maintenance of HVAC systems and mechanical equipment. Its fleet of engineers, planners, project managers, estimators, pipefitters and plumbers are Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) trained. In addition, the firm offers plumbing and pipefitting services, such as process piping, medical gases and industrial gases. It caters to the health care, industrial, retail, manufacturing, institutional and pharmaceutical industries. McKenney Mechanical Contractors Inc. is a member of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America, Mechanical Contractors Association of Connecticut and National Certified Pipe Welding Bureau.
