History
Ten years ago, Upper Westsiders Rebecca and Jeremy Wallace-Segall brought Writopia Lab, a national writing program for kids, to West 81st Street. Now a nation-wide program, Writopia's students earn more Scholastic Awards than any other youth writing program. A decade later they are expanding their warm and successful vision to adults. Their new program, The Writer's Rock, offers adult workshops and private one-on-one sessions in fiction, memoir, musical improv, manuscript consultation, science-fiction, food writing, and more. Workshops are held seven days a week, both in morning and evening, on the Upper West Side, in Park Slope, and online. Best of all, The Writer's Rock offers an inviting space for adults to get in touch with their whole creative, fun-loving, literary selves.
