The Velvet Lounge is a great little bar. They offer a decent selection of beers, wines and mixed drinks. It's one of the few places around here that doesn't feel suffocatingly "Long Island"....

Great vibes, people, laid back and fun for live music. I'd say it's unique in that it's not overly crowded always yet you can catch great bands and enjoy great drinks too.
