The Vein Center at Union Square

I am a board certified vascular surgeon in practice for the past 27 years specializing in all aspects of venous disease. I evaluate and treat venous insufficiency/venous reflux, spider veins, varicose veins, venous ulcers, venous dermatitis and leg swelling in my IAC certified Vein Center utilizing state-of-the-art minimally invasive procedures under local anesthesia. I am also the Director of the IAC certified vascular laboratory located in my office which allows me to assess all patients' venous disease at the time of initial consultation and at follow-up appointments. Additionally, as a member of the Katz Institute for Women's Health (KIWH), I am the creator and director of the SWELL Program (Services for Women's Edema of the Lower Limbs) with a specific focus on assessing and treating the causes of lower extremity swelling in women. Lastly, I am one of only a few Associate Professors of Surgery at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
