Located next to Fish Creek & Rollins Pond NYS Campgrounds and Donaldson's Campground, The Trading Post found it's roots as a seasonal store, catering to campers and locals alike. It has been owned and operated by the Knapp family since 1978. It became famous for it's in-house butchered meats, homemade sausage, and ice cream stand. It has updated and modernized since 2003 by the newest owner, a second generation family member.

A true general store with a full selection of groceries. We've got an in-house butcher shop, cutting up Black Angus beef and making our Famous Homemade Sausage! We have a bakery by day and a deli by lunch. Serving our Famous made to order sandwiches and pizza. The secret is in our secret shakers! Running on empty? There's a coffee & cappuccino bar, gas and diesel fuel. Plenty of ice, firewood, beer & wine, camping supplies, fishing tackle, and RV supplies for all your weekend warrior needs! Come pick up something to read by the fire from our books and magazines. Grab a souvenir to bring home from our novelties and gifts section. Plus check out the new Ice Cream Trolley & Candy Store!
