"Don't let the name fool you you. The Plaza Cafe is one of the most highly acclaimed restaurants in the Hamptons. The accolades it has achieved over the past 29 years is too numerous to list here and they keep coming as with the recent award for being one of Long Islands Top Ten Seafood Restaurants as per LI Newsday. Chef/Owner Doug Gulija has recently transitioned his restaurant to a Two Course 85 Prix Fixe Menu format which regulars say is the best value in the Hamptons. In addition their is the option of the Chef's Five Course Tasting Menu with optional Wine Pairing, and there is also a VEGETARIAN TASTING MENU. The menu will changes frequently. The dining room recently went through a major renovation to give the space a relaxing, Mediterranean feel to complement the Civilized Dining approach that has Soul."

This place is top-notch. The lobster chowder was delicious. My salmon was cooked to perfection: juicy, meaty yet flaky. Yum. Very beautiful restaurant worth visiting when staying out east.
