I've tried many groomers in Syracuse and this by far the best place to go. I'm surprised there aren't more reviewed considering how busy they are (call at least a week ahead for appointments)....

History
The Pink Pug was opened in October 2011. We have been steadily growing ever since as we gain awesome new customers each and every week! In 2012, we added a another groomer, Crystal, to our team to help keep up with the expanding demand for our grooming services while also upholding our supurb reputation. Crystal adds years of experience and a great deal of knowledge to The Pink Pug as she graduated from the New York School of Dog Grooming in 2004, groomed on the Upper East Side in NYC, worked at the ASPCA as an animal care technician, and worked on the floor as a room attendant at Blue Prints Dog Studio. Since her hire date in 2012, Crystal has played an essential role in our overall growth and success. In 2014, Rylah joined our team as our brusher/bather to allow us to keep accommodating the needs of both established and new customers. Her job is crucial for productive work days and an increased number of appointments.
Specialties
The Pink Pug is a family owned and operated Dog Grooming business in Syracuse, New York. We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service and positive work environment. We treat every dog that walks through our front door as our own, and will do whatever it takes to adhere to the owner's wants, while also keeping their furry companion happy. The Pink Pug has an open floor plan that allows our human customers to see all of the locations their dog will be visiting throughout the day; including our tubs, drying stations, grooming tables, crates, beds, and play area. To keep the canines most comfortable, we believe the only crate time they should be getting (assuming your dog is friendly/gets along with other dogs) is when their clean coat needs to finish drying. If needed, accommodations can and will be made to ensure the safety of all dogs in our facility. At drop off our customers are given the opportunity to tell us when they would like their beautified dog back or if they would rather us notify them when the grooming process is finished. The Pink Pug employees and owners advocate heavily for surrounding dog rescues. We feel adopting dogs who are otherwise homeless is essential as they will provide you with unconditional love while you in turn save their life. We do the best we can to beautify shelter dogs that are brought to us (mostly from CNY SPCA and Helping Hounds) to hopefully increase their chances to get adopted.
