The Mar Thoma Church in Staten Island, NY is a vibrant and growing community that traces its roots back to the arrival of Saint Thomas Mar Thoma, one of the twelve disciples of Jesus Christ, in India in AD 52. With a rich history and a commitment to apostolic origins, biblical faith, and evangelical principles, the Mar Thoma Church is a welcoming and inclusive place of worship. From its humble beginnings in 1980 with 25 families, the church has now grown to include 128 families and a beautiful new church facility dedicated in 2005.
