History

After two great years at the marina in Frankfort we made the decision to relocate and rebrand a little bit. Although we loved the marina, it was time to broaden our horizons and expand a little. So what did we do? We opened our new coffee shop, The Java Shop by Cucina Berto, at 143 North Main Street in Herkimer, NY! Our passion for good coffee and the drive to provide something new and needed to our community became our driving forces. The Java Shop is a small, hometown coffeeshop where your coffee is personally brewed from a variety of special beans. What makes a coffeeshop even better is the delicious food to pare with it. For breakfast we offer quick grab and go items like muffins, homemade granola bars, scones and fruit smoothies. Everyones favorite classic breakfast sandwiches will be made to order as well as our fluffy Belgian waffles. For lunch we offer daily specials of fresh salads, artisan sandwiches and hot soups. Of course it wouldn't be CB without our occasional Italian c
