The Harley School

The Harley School, established in 1917 and located in Rochester, N.Y., is a private school that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 500 students and more than 30 percent of its students receive financial aid. Its campus is spread on an area of more than 25 acres. The school has a lunch program that eliminates processed and high-sugar foods and features made-from-scratch cooking. It has an average student-to-faculty ratio of 8-to-1 and 75 percent of its teachers have advanced degrees. The school offers an academic program that includes learning through the visual and performing arts and athletics. All students participate in community service, and the institution sponsors the Horizons student enrichment program.
