History

The Book Cellar is located in the basement of the Webster branch of the NYPL on York Ave. between 77th and 78th Street in Manhattan. Operated by volunteers from the Friends of the Webster Library, all books are donated and proceeds benefit the branch libraries of the NYPL. Books are sorted into over 60+ categories, with CDs and DVDs and we're known for our extensive Children's Section and Mystery/Thriller Room.
