The Alpha Workshops

The Alpha Workshops is a nonprofit organization that provides training and employment in the decorative arts for individuals living with HIV and AIDS. The organization was founded in 1994 and is located in New York City. It is a decorative arts workshop that produces hand-painted textiles, furniture and decorative wall finishes, as well as a variety of smaller products for the home and office. The Alpha Workshops also offers murals and decorative paintings, restoration and refinishing services, decorative papers, faux finishes and gilding decor coordination, and wall treatments. Additionally, the organization provides greeting cards, decorative plates, decorative boxes, pet products, mosaic pots, lamps and shades, votive candles, trivets, and pillows.
