The Terryville Fire Department, established in 1950, is a volunteer fire department serving the hamlets of Port Jefferson Station and Terryville in Suffolk County, NY. Comprised of approximately 90 active members, including firefighters, fire police, and EMS personnel, their mission is to save lives, suppress and control fires, and provide various services such as EMS, rescue, fire prevention, and education.
Operating out of three stations, the Terryville Fire Department is dedicated to serving the community by offering free training opportunities for those interested in pursuing careers in firefighting or emergency services. With a rich history dating back to its founding, the department has been actively responding to alarms and providing essential services to the citizens of Port Jefferson Station and Terryville for over 70 years.
