Telly’s Taverna opened its doors in 1990 and was one of the very first restaurants to bring fresh whole fish to Astoria. Our mission is to introduce authentic Greek Cuisine by delivering only the freshest ingredients. Our focus is family. Dianna Loiselle is the Executive Chef and Owner of Telly’s Taverna. She has consistently aimed to uphold the simplicity of traditional Greek Cuisine and has shaped Telly’s Taverna into everyone’s favorite place to eat. She has transformed a family-owned neighborhood restaurant into a neighborhood landmark, and a must-visit destination.

Fabulous and authentic food and service. Waiters from Greece and spoke Greek. They also have a lot of fish which I think is the speciality.
