St. Therese of Lisieux Church in Brooklyn, NY is a vibrant Catholic parish that has been serving the community since 1926. With over 1000 families, the majority of whom have roots in the Caribbean region, the parish offers a range of ministries, including a Religious Education program and a school, St. Catherine of Genoa St. Therese of Lisieux Academy, catering to Pre-K through Jr. High School students.

The parish takes its name from St. Therese of Lisieux, also known as the Little Flower, who was born in France in 1873. After entering the Carmelite convent in Lisieux at the age of 15, she developed a deep intimacy with God through prayer and meditation. St. Therese quickly gained popularity among the faithful after her death and was canonized as a saint by Pope Pius XI in 1925. She was later declared a Doctor of the Church by Pope John Paul II in 1997.
