SALGA NYC is a volunteer-run organization based in New York City that provides a community and safe space for South Asian queer and trans individuals. With a mission to establish cultural visibility and combat oppression and discrimination, SALGA NYC has been promoting awareness, acceptance, and empowerment for over 25 years.
Through their dedication to leadership development, immigration advocacy, mental health support, and political involvement, SALGA NYC strives to create a more empowered society for individuals of all sexual and gender identities with South Asian heritage.
