Pohs Institute, one of the oldest insurance schools in New York State was founded in 1921 by Herbert Pohs. Pohs Institute is one of the largest providers of insurance instruction in New York State, as well as an approved provider in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine and Rhode Island. More than 200, 000 men and women, eager to pursue a career in the insurance industry, have enrolled in our schools. We provide insurance instruction to large insurance companies and brokerages, as well as banks and financial institutions. Our instructors are professional adjunct teachers from the insurance industry, with an average of 10 or more years of industry experience.

Espoir Youth Programs, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded by Dr. Samarth Joseph in 2012, dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for children in the United States and less developed countries. With a focus on additional learning time, vocational training, parental and community involvement, and improving physical and mental health, Espoir aims to provide a brighter future for children. Currently operating in the Westbury, NY community, Espoir plans to expand its youth programs to various countries including Haiti, Jamaica, Guadeloupe, and more. Under the leadership of Dr. Samarth Joseph, Espoir Youth Programs, Inc. continues to grow and make a positive impact on children's lives. Through fundraising events and gatherings, Espoir works towards helping kids build confidence, navigate peer pressure, and achieve social experiences within the classroom.
