I graduated from the Lia Schorr Institute of Cosmetic Skincare in Manhattan. I originally began my career in Ukraine and also have several basic and advanced training certificates for the varied sugaring techniques to accompany my extensive years of experience in serving current customers. Sugaring paste is made from sugar, water, lemon juice and is similar in consistency to thick honey. In the process of sugaring, the technician applies sugar paste on the skin against the direction of hair growth. This is followed by a gentle abrupt removal technique which removes the hair in the direction of natural hair growth, so the hair does not break off. In addition, sugaring paste does not stick to the skin, only to the hair, so it can be repeatedly applied to the depilation site until the hair is completely removed without risk of damaging the skin. Sugar paste is easily heated to your body temperature, so it is impossible to get burned during the sugaring process. Regular sugaring reduces hair growth.
