Established in 1996, Skate Safe America has two full-sized skating rinks and is located in Old Bethpage, N.Y. It has a pro shop that stocks hockey equipment from various manufacturers, including Bauer, Nike, Mission, Montreal, Tour and BlackBiscuit. Its pro shop also carries a wide collection of T-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, caps and shoes. It organizes a wide range of spring and summer programs that include hockey camps, clinics, leagues, tournaments and goalie clinic. In addition, it provides a facility for birthday parties, meetings and corporate events and can accommodate more than 1,600 people. Skate Safe America hosts a wide variety of sports and events, such as lacrosse and soccer.

Inconsistent leagues, rink conditions are not good, and expensive. Only thing going for it is the location.

Nice, clean hockey rink! Was here a few times for my sons hockey team tournaments. Two different rinks, small pro shop and hot food so you can eat while you wait between games, also snack and soda...
