Sisters Hill Woods is a 75-acre forest located in Stanfordville, New York, generously donated to Winnakee Land Trust by the Sisters of Charity. This locally significant forest features a DEC Core Northern Hardwood Forest, 8 acres of designated wetland and Class B stream, and is recognized as a DEC Forest Linkage Zone, Core Habitat for Imperiled Species, and a Significant Biodiversity Area in the Hudson Valley. The site is permanently protected by a Dutchess Land Conservancy easement, and visitors can explore 1.3 miles of trails that wind through the forest and streams, including a section of historic rail bed from the early 1900s.

In the whole Hudson Valley, this trail is definitely unknown to many, and it was a nice pick. The only dreadful part is the parking lot, extremely tiny and only fits probably two I'd say. Also,...
