The Staten Island Ice Hockey Association, established in 1973, is the oldest ice hockey organization on Staten Island, dedicated to teaching residents the fundamentals of skating and ice hockey. Their free clinic program, running from November to February, welcomes boys and girls aged 5 to 17 to learn and develop their skills at the Staten Island Skating Pavilion.

As an independent organization, the Staten Island Ice Hockey Association is not affiliated with USA Hockey and does not participate in games against other clubs.
