History
This business has been around for more than 40 years. In 1999 the name of the business was changed to Silhouettes and Profiles under a new management of Irene Tcherniakovski. Naturally, the foundation and driving force of our business has been and still remaining quality work, a unique vision and an amiable and lasting relationship with clientele. Silhouettes and Profiles has received coverage in a number of famous fashion magazines, including Sunday Times, Weddings New York, Elle, Vogue and much more.
Specialties
We specialize in the restoration and alteration of all garments, ranging from swim suits and men's jackets to vintage dresses and coats. Silhouettes & Profiles is no ordinary tailor shop. Working with our clients is a creative process which allows us to utilize our skills to create something beautiful to fit your needs. We also make our own unique clothes using vintage fabrics, details and patterns.

Superb. If there's something they can't do,, they'll tell you. All they do is better than you imagined. Not cheap, but always worth the cost if you value the piece.
