Sieverts Sporting Good

History

In 1981 a young man named Randall (Randy) Wojdyla began his journey as the proprietor of Sievert's Sporting Goods (Sievert's Sports). Randy met his wife, Michele, in college. He moved to Amsterdam upon their graduation and purchased Michele's grandfather, Walter (Walt), general sporting goods business that successfully operated for many years on Main Street in Amsterdam. From the early 1980's Randy has taken the business to the next level by expanding product lines to the major brands we know today such as Adidas, New Balance, Nike, Under Armour, Asics, Saucony, Wilson, Marucci, Victus as well as many more. Forty plus years later he has now expanded the business to the Crossing Plaza in Clifton Park, NY.

Specialties

We are a family owned sports store that specializes in friendly customer service on fitting specialty running/walking shoes. That includes attention to those that need one-on-one fit consultation with orthotic footwear. We strive to serve our young and older athletes for their needs in athletic footwear for baseball, softball, football, track, cross-country, lacrosse and wrestling. As well as the footwear and clothing we have extensive gear/equipment inventory in baseball, softball and soccer. Lastly we do screen printing and embroidery on team, school and business apparel and gear!
