Dr. Sierra Seaman is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the Division of Gynecologic Specialty Surgery, specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of complex gynecologic conditions, including fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, intrauterine pathology, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, and infertility with a special interest in fertility optimization. After earning her medical degree at the University of Virginia, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as her Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Complex Gynecologic Conditions at CUIMC. She received several awards during this time including the prestigious Jay M. Cooper Foundation of the AAGL Signature Award, the AAGL award for Excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery, the Excellence in Teaching Award, induction into the Gold Humanism Honors Society, and a 100K grant for the Future of Robotics. Dr. Seaman's 3-year AAGL-accredited fellowship training alongside experts in minimally invasive surgery provided her with specialized training and expertise in the fields of advanced robotics, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. She remains heavily involved in medical education with a goal to advance the future of surgical training through didactics, simulation, and coaching. Dr. Seaman is an advocate for patient-centered care and favors a minimally invasive approach to surgery. She aims to provide exceptional care to each individual patient.

Following her residency, Dr. Rosenwasser completed dual fellowships in pediatric orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, and pediatric limb lengthening and reconstruction under the direction of Dr. John Herzenberg at the Sinai Hospital’s Ruben Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Rosenwasser is an active member of the academic orthopedic community, both as a member of numerous national organizations and as an active researcher with a variety of ongoing research projects focused on improving patient outcomes for children who require complex orthopedic care.

Dr. Esther S. Han, MD, MPH is a board-certified OBGYN and fellowship trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon at New York Presbyterian – Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Han completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University and earned a master’s degree in public health at The George Washington University before earning her medical degree from Boston University. Following her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, she completed an AAGL-accredited fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at New York Presbyterian – Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Han is active in the AAGL where she serves on the FMIGS Global Health Committee. She is also a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is passionate about improving access to minimally invasive gynecologic surgery both at home and abroad. She provides training in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in Guatemala and Tanzania and partners with national and international organizations focusing on sustainable capacity building in low resource settings. She participates actively in the training of fellows and residents as a faculty member and educator.
