Shiva Mandir is one of the pioneering Hindu temples in Queens, New York, founded and incorporated in September 1980. Since its inauguration on July 4, 1987, the temple has dedicated itself to serving the community and promoting Hindu culture and traditions.
Regular services at the temple include Sunday worship and Thursday Ramayan sessions, alongside monthly events such as the Poornima or Full Moon Pooja. The temple is guided by officiating Pandits who lead various spiritual practices and community gatherings.

I attend services at this Mandir. Also I enjoy conducting services when ask to. The comity and other members are very welcoming; they treat me and my family as members of their community family.
