Sheau-Yan Ho, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in Medical Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry and licensed clinical health psychologist whoprovides direct clinical services to patients and families in the medical intensive care unit (MICU) and post-ICU course at CUIMC/NYPH. Dr. Ho specializes in behavioral medicine and coping with acute and chronic medical conditions. Her clinical interests includemood and anxiety disorders, trauma and stress-related disorders, adjustment to medical stressors, complicated grief, and perinatal/reproductive mental health. She is committed to integrated mental health in healthcare, interprofessional collaboration, and working with marginalized and underserved populations. Her approach to patient care is guided by multicultural and inclusive values and integrates evidence-based treatments such as acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness and self-compassion therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, motivational interviewing, and meaning-centered psychotherapy.

Dr. Olsen received her BS from The George Washington University, MS from Georgetown University, MD from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Northshore University in Manhasset, NY. She has interest in Emergency Medicine education, previously serving as Medical Student Clerkship Director at Staten Island University Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine- Northwell Health System. Dr. Olsen also has an interest in Quality, Billing and Compliance having worked in these areas during her time at the University of Buffalo Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Olsen is excited to work together with the Emergency Department and the NYP Innovations Team to implement Virtual Health technology into the Emergency Department care model.

Dr. Deep Patel is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC), where he sees patients at the ColumbiaDoctors Third Avenue office, ColumbiaDoctors Midtown, and the CUMC main campus. Dr. Patel graduated summa cum laude from Wilkes University, where he also played on the baseball team. He then earned both his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and received several awards, including the Business Leadership Immersion Scholar, Medical Student Research Award, and the Alphonse E. Leure-Dupree Exemplary Medical Student Award. He completed his internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and his dermatology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Patel is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and up-to-date care to all his patients. With a strong background in health systems and business administration, he brings a unique lens to quality improvement and systems-based care, leading initiatives that measurably enhance healthcare delivery.
