History
Dr. Sharon Josephs PT, DPT, OCS started teaching Pilates in 2008. She opened a Pilates studio in 2015 and teamed up with Lifestyle Physical Therapy in the New York Midtown area in 2018. She believes that pain free movement improves quality of life and she is passionate about helping her clients achieve this through an individualized, safe, whole body Pilates program modified for their specific need, concern or goal. The Pilates reformer and tower (similar to the Pilates cadillac) utilize spring resistance that can be set up to either assist a low level or beginner client or challenge a high level athlete. The exercise environment is bright, quiet and non-intimidating. Sharon enjoys teaching her clients about their movement patterns so that this mind-body awareness can be carried over into their every day posture and activities.
