Greater New York Academy of Seventh-day Adventists is a co-educational high school owned and operated by the Greater New York Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. It offers courses in computers and business, English, modern languages, mathematics, physical education, social studies, religion and science. It also provides classes in computer education and foreign languages. Its newspaper provides students with the opportunity to develop journalistic skills. Its guidance center offers counseling and provides information about scholarships. It offers sports activities, such as basketball, volleyball and gymnastics, badminton, handball, flag football and softball. It has various clubs and organizations, such as student council, choral organization, alumni association and science club. Founded in 1956, the Hebron French-speaking Seventh-day Adventist Church was the first Haitian Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America. We have over 50 years of ministry to the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn in New York.
