Hell’s Kitchen - 1991: Pat and Eileen Hughes had just taken over a blue-collar, “shot and a beer” bar on 8th Avenue. Nestled among XXX video stores, it had served the neighborhood and its crusty cast of characters well. But the area was transitioning and the siblings knew the bar had to change with it. They renamed the place “Scruffy Duffy’s” and so began the slow climb to it becoming one of the most successful bars NYC had ever seen. Out went the steam table, quite popular in the 70’s & 80’s, and in came a new menu of made to order bar food, with buffalo style chicken wings the star. Hell’s Kitchen - 2019: Those wings are back, as is the atmosphere that made Scruffy Duffy’s so beloved at its original location. Now open on 10th Avenue, you will find a friendly staff, TVs ready to show your favorite sporting events and the outstanding service that made the original Scruffy’s legendary.

Very fun bar. Stopped in on a Saturday and had a chill time at the bar with a few drinks. Bartender was friendly and quick. Clean bathrooms.

Really cool neighborhood type bar that has chill vibe. Plenty of TVs too if you're trying to catch a game. They have a second room also for more seating and partying.
