Scott J Biehl, DO - Orthopedic Associates of Rochester-Greece

Dr. Biehl was born and raised in Cleveland, OH. He came to Rochester to attend St. John Fisher where he played football and completed his pre-med studies. It was here where he found his passion for sports medicine after having dealt with multiple injuries throughout his collegiate career. He earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a Family Medicine residency at the University of Rochester. During residency, he completed an area of concentration in sports medicine and also worked toward his Masters in Medical Management at the Simon Business School. From there, Dr. Biehl traveled to Virginia Tech University and Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine to complete his sports medicine fellowship. He worked closely with both the Virginia Tech and Radford University sports teams, developed his skills in musculoskeletal ultrasound and interventional orthopedic procedures, taught at the medical school, and contributed to Virginia Techs cutting edge helmet research. After his fellowship, Dr. Biehl returned to his adopted home of Rochester and started working with RRH Orthopaedics. Dr. Biehl specializes in interventional orthopaedics and sports medicine for non-surgical and minimally invasive approaches to treatment. This includes diagnostic and therapeutic musculoskeletal ultrasound, injections, orthobiologics (PRP/stem cell), and minimally invasive tenotomy (TenJet). He takes pride in providing the highest quality of care while educating patients on their condition and the potential treatment options available to achieve healing. He is committed to lifelong learning and staying up to date on the current literature and techniques to improve patient outcomes.
