History

In 1955, Hans Lindblom, an architect from Stockholm was asked by his friend, Bruno Mathsson, to open a showroom in New York offering his furniture designs. On his following trip back to Sweden, Mr. Lindblom purchased all Mathsson designs being made at the time, and brought them back with him to New York on the ship:
