The Quick: Sunny beachy spot to check out if you're in the area. Sayville in general is a great beach town in the summer- a quick drive to the vineyards and Hamptons but much more low key.

I come to this beach a lot to take photos and just relax. It's a beautiful little area I've been visiting for years. There are two "sides"... one side is the marina, where there is a long pier...

This beach isn't the cleanest but the park and tennis courts are nice. They charge to get in but you're able to park on the street or in a public parking lot a couple houses down and walk in for free.
