Saratoga Clay Arts Center (SCAC), founded in 2011 by Jill Fishon Kovachick, is a vibrant facility located in upstate New York, just eight miles from Saratoga Springs. Dedicated to promoting the ceramic arts, SCAC provides an inclusive space for artists of all ages and backgrounds to explore clay, develop their skills, and build a collaborative community.
Spanning 13,000 square feet, the center is home to 30 clay artists and features private and shared studios, classrooms, a glazeroom, kiln room, and the Schacht Gallery, which showcases contemporary ceramics from local to international artists. SCAC offers year-round classes, workshops, and private lessons, led by experienced teaching artists, creating opportunities for artistic growth and creative expression.
