Homecoming Farm, located in Amityville, NY, is a historic organic farm that has been operating for over 23 years. Originally known as Sophia Garden, the farm was established by a group of Dominican Sisters in 1996 with the aim of modeling sustainable living and caring for the Earth. Today, Homecoming Farm is a certified organic Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) project, providing members with the opportunity to grow organic food for themselves and those in need in the community. With a commitment to addressing the growing need for pesticide-free food on Long Island, Homecoming Farm not only donates organic produce to local pantries but also partners with The Interfaith Nutrition Network (The INN) to contribute to the fight against hunger.
