Rural Area Health Education Center

Western New York Rural AHEC is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving healthcare in the region through workforce development, education, and resources. They serve multiple counties in the area and offer programs and services for students, professionals, and the community, including a comfortable and restful eight-bed Hospitality House. With a focus on connecting students to careers, professionals to communities, and communities to better health, Western New York Rural AHEC is committed to making a positive impact on healthcare in the region.

Supported in part by the Health Resources and Services Administration, Western New York Rural AHEC works to address health care needs by providing education, housing, workforce development, and technology solutions. They strive to improve the quality of healthcare through their programs and partnerships, making a difference in the lives of individuals and communities in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates counties.
