Rosemary Soave, M.D.

Dr. Goldman earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Denison University and has a master’s degree in Psychology in Education from Columbia University Teacher’s College. Dr. Goldman earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University where she received extensive training in mindfulness-based interventions, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Dr. Goldman completed her predoctoral internship training at UCSF/San Francisco General Hospital in which she was rigorously trained in evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions with children and families. Following internship, Dr. Goldman completed her postdoctoral fellowship training at Stanford University School of Medicine/Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital where she provided individual, couples, and group therapy to parents in the NICU and integrated care to women during the perinatal period. She is rostered in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and has received training in Perinatal Child-Parent Psychotherapy (P-CPP) to work with infants, young children, and parents exposed to trauma and adversity. Dr. Goldman has also received training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). In psychotherapy, Dr. Goldman often integrates evidence-based approaches to meet individual patients’ needs and goals. At Weill Cornell, Dr. Goldman is contributing to the development of a collaborative care model with colleagues in Obstetrics to better serve the mental health needs of women and families during the perinatal period, following pregnancy and infant loss, and through infertility treatment. Dr. Goldman is also working on developing clinical services to treat parents, infants, and young children in the outpatient setting as well as in the NICU at Weill Cornell/NYP. She is actively involved in education of psychology and psychiatry trainees related to perinatal, infant, and early childhood mental health at Weill Cornell. Dr. Goldman also collaborates with colleagues on research in these areas and presents at national and international conferences.

Dr. Satlin received his M.D. from the University of Virginia and completed residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Infectious Diseases at Weill Cornell Medical College. He also received a Master's Degree in Clinical and Translational Investigation at Weill Cornell.He is Clinical Director of the Transplantation-Oncology Infectious Diseases Program at Weill Cornell and provides infectious diseases supportive care to immunocompromised hosts. Dr. Satlin's research interests are in the epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment of multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacterial infections in immunocompromised hosts, and his research is supported by grants from NIAID and industry. He is Co-Chair of the Breakpoint Working Group of the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute's Subcommittee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing, participates on multiple committees of NIAID's Antibacterial Research Leadership Group, and serves on the Program Committee for ASM Microbe. He also serves as Associate Editor for Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy-Antimicrobial Resistance, is on the Editorial Board of Journal of Clinical Microbiology, and is on the Editorial Advisory Boards of Clinical Infectious Diseases and Open Forum Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Kenny Castro is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Pediatrician at New York-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. She is board certified in Pediatrics.Dr. Castro obtained her medical degree (M.D.) from the Central University of Venezuela. After receiving her M.D., she worked as a community doctor in her home country, Venezuela, providing medical care to low-income and minority populations. Seeking further expertise, she immigrated to the United States and pursued her medical training at Lincoln Medical Center, completing a three-year residency in pediatrics. Following that, she accomplished a three-year fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, where she was also inducted as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.During her fellowship training, Dr. Castro actively engaged in various research projects, focusing on clinical research and quality improvement. She contributed to studies exploring the public health impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Inflammatory Bowel Disease presentation in pediatric patients in the New York City area and enhancing patient experience during colonoscopy procedures. Dr. Castro is fluent in English and Spanish, and her clinical interests include abdominal pain, constipation, inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux, eosinophilic esophagitis, eosinophilic gastrointestinal disease, celiac disease, poor weight gain, obesity, nausea, and vomiting.
