RKO Keith's Theatre, once a premier movie palace in Flushing, NY, was celebrated for its stunning Atmospheric design by renowned architect Thomas White Lamb, featuring Moorish and Spanish Baroque elements alongside a memorable auditorium ceiling adorned with twinkling stars. Opened in 1928, it hosted a range of legendary performers, from Judy Garland to Bob Hope, before transitioning to a triplex cinema in the mid-1970s.

After decades of decline, the theater faced demolition, with significant portions of the structure destroyed by 2021, while the lobby was preserved for integration into a new development. Despite numerous efforts to restore and repurpose the building, it ultimately succumbed to years of neglect, becoming a poignant reminder of cinematic history in New York City.
